  • Deadline to drop off a used uniform for the
    uniform exchange is June 14, 2013 @ 6:00 PM

    If you are offering an item for our Used Uniform Exchange then you will need to print and include this page in the ziplock bag, sign it, and carefully follow the directions below.

    If you are a NEW Dragon you will need to order a uniform.

    Returning Dragons who have outgrown their uniform will also need to order by September 2013 to make sure we have it in time for competition season. The payment for that, as with last year will be made in two installments to make it easier for family budgets. If you are going to be away the week of sizing, you must request an EARLY sizing appointment w/ Ms. Alyssa BEFORE the date the rest of your group is sized. Used uniforms will not be available for fittings until your scheduled group sizing.

    One PARENT for each child MUST attend sizing, approve size, and SIGN for order.
    Tiny uniforms sizing information will be available in September.

    New Dragons will be billed for the Discounted Price for a complete uniform:

      2013 price (decrease)Youth, JR, SR: $289.00. i.e.:$144.50 (half) will be charged to your card about July 7, 2013/  $144.50(half) will be charged to your card about Aug 4, 2013

      2013 price (decrease) MINIs: $215.00. i.e.:$107.50 (half) will be charged to your card about July 7, 2013/   $107.50(half) will be charged to your card about Aug 4, 2013

      2013 price (decrease) TINYs: $145.00. will be charged at sizing.

    We permit our previous Dragons to provide us with used uniforms which no longer fit, if the uniform style is being carried over for another season so you can make arrangements to purchase them if you like. See details below.

    Returning Dragons  must see Ms. Alyssa no later than June 14, 2013 to order replacement items if you have out grown your old uniform.

    Charges are NOT split and no discounts on less than the complete uniform (all 3 items). FULL payment will be charged to your credit card for the items ordered about July 2, 2013.

    Prices are subject to manufacturers increases over which we have no control, however we have been told not to anticipate an increase until 10/1/13.

    Used Uniform Process:

    If you have a lightly used uniform which you would like to offer for sale it must be in Ms. Alyssa's hands no later than June 14, 2013 @ 6:00PM. Directions for doing this are listed below. 50% is the price we use to resell for you. We make no charge to you for this service but we will require promptness and correct adherence to directions please.

     

    We anticipate a very limited number of these will be available to try on the night of sizing in September on a first come, first served basis. The sizing schedule is set up by the Cheer Director, Dragon's Office Manager, and Head Coach to facilitate smooth transactions as much as possible. We appreciate your patience with this complicated process. A used uniform will not be available for every child.

     

    If we have a used item in your size and you try it on, and decide to purchase it, you must make IMMEDIATE payment for that item, or it will be offered to the next person in line. Check or Credit Card please. When signing the Order Form at sizing day, note on the form that you have purchased that item used or you will be charged for a new one.

     

    No refunds or credits from KGC are available if you find a used uniform to purchase once you have signed the order form for a new uniform. The order will be placed for the new uniform and your account will be charged.

    Used Uniform Exchange:

    Paperwork below & uniform items are required by June 14 @ 6:00PM.

    After June 14, 2013 @ 6:00PM please wait until the following season to turn in items for the used uniform sale (they will be eligible for cheer credit for your family only). Uniforms are sometimes discontinued by the manufacturer or KGC Inc. and no used uniform exchange will be offered in those instances. There is also no guarantee that KGC will not change uniform style from one season to the next.

                In an effort to help out parents from last year who have cheerleaders that outgrew uniforms, we will coordinate when possible getting used uniform pieces that are in good condition to other cheerleaders in need of competition uniforms.  If we are able to find a match for the used uniform pieces, a credit of half the price of a new piece will be put onto the account of your cheerleader on October 25th 2013, to be applied to the November Tuition.  The recipient of the uniform piece will be charged that same amount. 

                 This will save parents from having to try to sell the uniforms on their own, and will give them some credit towards future cheer expenses.  It will also allow new cheerleaders to get a price break on part of the uniform. We will try in every way to make things go smoothly for all involved, but we need your help to make it work.

    1.  All dragon cheerleaders who currently have uniforms should immediately try on all pieces to see if they will be OK for the next competition season.  Please do not pass on damaged or stained items. JRs & SRs will have the same style for this season. Mini & Youth are getting new uniforms and their old uniforms will be discontinued so please do not turn those in to us. Youth may be able to purchase used uniforms. Tiny Uniform is the same and they may turn theirs in for resale.

    2.  Any pieces that need to be replaced, for which you are interested in trying to get credit, must be placed individually in clear plastic zip lock bags with a card stating the name of the cheerleader, team level (mini, youth, junior, senior) the phone and e-mail of the parent, the size and description of the item. 

     

         Print out a copy of this page with parent's signature and place it into the bag or the items will not be processed.  The bag must be given directly to Ms. Alyssa at the gym and a receipt should be gotten for every item left for sale.  DO NOT leave those bags with anyone else or leave without a receipt.  This keeps Mrs. Kehler organized and prevents any problems for you.  They must be turned in no later than June 14, 2013 @ 6:00PM.  Items that come in after that date will be returned to you.

     

    3.  When we are sizing the new dragon members we will let them know if they are the size of your items and give them a chance to try on your used uniform. If we have more than one item of the same size, the first item sold will be randomly selected.

    If your piece does not sell, it will be available for you to pick up by October 30, 2013.  If the item does sell, credits will be put onto your account with notification to you by October 25, 2013. 

    Used uniforms may not actually find a suitable buyer this season. You may try again the following season to turn in items for the used uniform sale (they will be eligible for cheer credit for your family only). Uniforms are sometimes discontinued by the manufacturer or KGC Inc. and no used uniform exchange will be offered in those instances.

    4.  Completely separate from the selling of used items, if you need new sizes for next year an e-mail will be sent giving you instructions for dates and times in August. Turning in a used uniform will be handled as a separate transaction from ordering new pieces.

Make Up & Cheer Shoes Information for 2013-14

Teams will be using a new style of make up for this season - so all squad members will need to order a new make up kit no later than Sept. 1 to insure all items are available in time for competition.  Specific instructions regarding application will be given prior to first competition.

Cheer Shoes: All squad members will need to purchase the same cheer shoe, which is the Nike Sideline II - you are welcome to purchase anywhere you like - however they are available through www.teamcheer.com.  We also are giving squad members the option of an upgraded style which is a lighter shoe, more designed for tumbling - note that this only is recommended for squad members who are performing more advanced tumbling skills (tucks,layouts, etc). The Nike Sideline II is perfectly fine for all squads, but some cheerleaders may prefer a lighter shoe, and have requested that option.
